2006 4.3 to 2008 4.8 swap........

what other things would be needed besides the following?
i have of course the 2008 4.8
it already has the e-fans

could we retain the factory ecm?or the fact that its a 08' would it need the ecm and tcm from 08?
or is it too complicated to do a genIv into nbs?

this is going to be in my cousins truck,hes thinking on buying the 4.8 from me,if he does,ill be helping em with the swap just need some hints and tips-thanks

that sounds like quite an endeavor to swap up to a genIV engine from a V6. I am sure it can be done if you're determined enough to try it. I wonder if Jonathan can marry a GenIV harness to the factory V6 harness? Good question, plus can you find a good GenIV harness in a boneyard or online? Its pretty much the same swap as the GenIII stuff just different PCM/TCM setup. It sounds financially restricting. I'd sell the V6 truck and buy a V8 if it were me.

I'd go back the the pre 07 electronics, 24x reluctor. It would make life so much easier.
