How wide can i go in the rear of my 91 step side? I was thinking of some 20x9.5's I have a 2/4 drop that im going to put on my truck when i get home in april. Will 20x9.5's cause any clearance problems?

It all depends on the width of the tire. I have 18x9.5s with 275/35/18s and they fit just fine on my 92. You have to get the offset correct if you want them to tuck under the fenders.

I've got 17X11 Boyds on the rear of my 97. As far as the front goes, 9.5's are all I could tuck under the fender wells and still had to narrow the upper and lower control arms to do that. I should have at least gone 18's and I wouldn't have had to make any mods like RedHeartbeat says.

I have 2" drop spindles up front with 18x9.5s at all four corners. I still had to cut part of the lower a-arms. With the stock spindles the rims would hit the upper ball joint on my truck. I am running 1999 vette offset wheels with 2" wide adapters on all four corners.
