has 16 degrees more intake duration and 18 degrees more on exhaust and more lift too. I have used this same grind in a 5.3 and a 6.0 and liked it thats why I was gonna do it again , But its just way to small for my new stroker.Originally Posted by MidwestSS

would this be a good street cam for my truck 99 5.3, i drive it mostly highway and dont want to give up to much MPG.

I never really compared the gas mileage with my stock cam, But I know it takes alot less throttle on the highway with this cam and you can roll along at 70+ easy. I had this grind with a nelson tune and it was great.
I am interested, what else would you say i would have to swap out in order to get max performance. And can i run it with out a tune for a few weeks.
It's better! it's a comp.
Little different valve opening and closing times and little more duration.
