    Ipod????

Ive seen kits before to hook up and Ipod to an 03-07 factory head unit. Just wondering how to get my Ipod to work (if possible) with the 99-02 factory head unit. I know i can get it through the radio waves, but that sucks the sound quality is horrible, want to hard wire a cable in if possible?

You can get an AUX in adapter, but you won't be able to get ipod control like you can with the 03+

the best way is to buy a new head unit. i have the kenwood kdc-Bt742u and it has a usb port wit ipod support. But if you wanna keep factory the only way you can do it is wit aux in. BestBuy sells a kit that connects through your antenna cable and sends it directly through an fm channel, not through radio waves.

X1000 on a new radio. the fm modulators still sound like crap(my opinion). get the aux adapter if you want the best quality(with factory head). Kenwood makes a great deck, and you can use your Ipod USB cable to hook to it, no need in buying the kenwood cable, unless you just want to(I probably would).
