    Anyone updating to Windows 7?

My better half is returning to college this year so I went with her to the bookstore on campus yesterday. While we were there I went to the campus store and found that she could buy a student copy of Windows 7 Ultimate for $50. What was better is that she could buy one copy of 32bit and one of 64bit for $100 total! That's something like $450 worth of software. My laptop had Vista 32bit on it but my computer is actually a 64bit machine. I upgraded to the 64bit software and this thing rocks. I lost all my previous data on the computer during the installation but I had backed it up to an external drive before doing the upgrade. Buying a new hard drive would have been so much easier and saved a lot of time but I'm happy with the final results. It will take some time getting used to the new format but I would highly recommend the upgrade to anyone that has access to buy it at the student union.

i have windows 7. first off when using HP tuners the drivers tha come in the disk arent readable. you have to go to their site and DL their new drivers. besides that i have no issues so far with HP and win 7.

i like win 7 alot now vs my XP.

Ive had no issues with the HP Tuners drivers off the cd in Win7, just says their unsigned like they always have been. Guess thats my luck.

Win 7 > Vista in mem usage and stability by far.

I had the beta version of Windows 7 and tried it on our DVR computer , the one we use to record shows on in the living room , crashed several times , so gave up on it , might try the retail version , maybe , kind of hard to get me motivated about Windows 7 .
Rumor is Google is set to , and has already , come out with Android for netbooks , watch out MS , Google has eyes for you (games will play on Android in a few months) .
I have the new Moto Driod and love it .
Now what is a tune again?

I LOVE windows 7. It's got the pretty looks of vista, but the nice speed and reliability of XP.
