I just got done installing a procharger on an 04 escalade. I am having alil problem with blow by. It seems that the dipstick is beeing blown upward. I am guessing it is because the rings have NOT properly seated. The motor has 1700 miles on it. Any other help?????

Thanks Allen...... I finally put the new computer in. Truck runs great...... I am going to be getting another computer in the next month. I sold another job of this one. I guess it does all work out in the long run. I forgot the web address of the place to get injectors online. Can I get that again..... Thanks again for your help, and DAMN ........UPS.......

    Hey JDubb,

Glad to see you got it going! How's the pcv look? Some guys switch to a brass, one-way check valve.
1700 miles seems like more than enough for break in.
Sometimes the oil dipstick o-ring is kind of small, doesn't really hold it in place. You can put a thicker one on it.
Are there any noticable oil leaks anywhere?
Have you done a compression check, that will tell you if something is seriously wrong, i've been there, lol.

Good to hear the tune is working out! How does the power feel?

    talk to you soon,

The rings will be seated within the first mile you drive if not before that. The reason its blowig the dipstick out is crankcase pressure.
Get a crankcase evac system with a breather on the valve cover and vent it into the exhaust so that the vacuum from th exhaust pulls the pressure outta the crankcase.
It wont be the prettiest thing but they work and make sure it welded in the exhaust the correct direction or it will blow exhaust into the crankcase.

Well as it is 6:00 a.m. here, I am laying in bed........ I know what it is...... as I run down stairs to check my extra parts left over from the job.( every job has extra parts....lol) Well this one did, I didn't need FMU, or fuel pump. I guess this is what I get for having a helper....... There is a procharger bag labeled pcv system. Someone forgot to install it. I guess it happens. And ofcourse I threwaway the instructions. Well this only beeing my second kit, I kinda remember where it goes. Any help on that guys? I have a bunch of pictures from the last one I did. I look threw them.

You have leftover parts when you finish a job?!??!?! I thought I was the only one that happened to. I never throw away instructions though. I have file folders full of installation instructions from every thing installed in my truck from 1992 to today.
