    Wiper arms.

    Got bored and took my already peeling wiper arms to the wire wheel. Heres how they turned out. Let me know what ya think.

    looks good. did you give them a clear coat? otherwise they will rust and look ugly quick!

    I haven't clear coated them yet, I took some mothers mag and aluminum polish to them for a little protection for now. I do believe they are stainless steel.

    Stainless will still rust. You need to prep and clear them asap. They do look good by the way.

    mine are starting to peel too, how do you pull the whole arm off?

    You just pop the cap off, it should be a 13mm nut. I have a little puller for taking them off because they are pressed on, It hooks uder the arm and pushes down on the stud. Its been over a week and haven't seen any signs of rust yet.

    alot depends on what kind of stainless it is. im used to working with two, 304 and 430. 430 gets what we call stainless rust that usually wipes off and 304 usually stays clean
