Well, first off I'd like to thank Joe @ JAG Performance for the expertise in the transgo install Friday. W/O him I would have definitely missed a few things and it got rid of that annoying locking and unlocking of the converter. Much thanks to Joe, Allen, and Sheri. And now to the point where I got hit. After the install, we decided to get something to eat before heading back. So we went to the Taco Bell for something quick. Was about to pull onto the feeder and was waiting on traffic at the yield sign. Pulled up a little bit and BOOM!!! Got hit not once, but TWICE from behind. Looked back and some stupid chick in a Mitsubishi Galant decided to push me into traffic. We pulled over to the parking lot and I was expecting the worse, got out looked at the back of my truck and the bumper was bent slightly. I looked at her car and the one signal light was knocked out, there was a crack on the bumper, and the grill, and her hood wouldn't open. I was going to get her insurance, but I didn't have much damage done. So I said "The Hell with it", and let her go. The only thing I was pissed about was that I just spilled two large cokes on the floor bored of my truck. WOMEN DRIVERS?!?!?!?!?!

I wouldnt have been able to walk away...i would have...i dunno know. I would have givin her car more damage, and made her hand me all the money she had on her. Then i would have chained her car up to my truck and hauled it off to get pawned.

You where STOPPED at a Yield? Why is that so common in
Texas, especially in CC ? Yield means give way or yield, not stop.
Yet Most Texans yield at stop signs. When in CC I buzz around
all the stopped people at those yield signs.

I always stop at most yield signs if necessary. If not, I would run the risk of getting run over by everyone. People don't watch out for you, so you have to watch out for them. If you are not stopping at those yield signs then good luck, because someone will probably put a nice ding in your truck.

    Hey Zed,
I would have been pissed as hell. I would have gotten out and attempted to control my anger, but the ATTEMPT would fail very quickly. She must have really given the ol' sob story to ya, if you just let her go. On the bright side, at least you have a reason to go get a roll pan.

yeah, my thoughts exactly...or more like smashed all to hell. Yield means, if there is traffic, stay the fuck out of the way...if you have to stop, then stop. Here in North Texas, i will stop, and do often. To many females running wild that shouldnt be.

what he said... There was a ton of traffic on the feeder (service rd. for all you yankees lol j/k) and I was waiting on traffic to clear so that I could merge into traffic. And for some dumb ass reason she thought I was gone already. I had to take it slow and couldn't just punch it to get on because there was a big water puddle and I would have went nowhere w/ the tires I had on. I was trying to get my ass back home because my wife called and said that my tires were in that I had ordered so I could put them on and possibly head to the track but that didn't turn out either (got rained out).

Nah, I wasn't falling for that. Lets just say that me and my insurance got into it about a dismissed ticket that showed up on my record and they wanted to can me. Didn't want her to try to file on mine even tho she was CLEARLY in the wrong.

Damn insurance companies and lawyers are a necessary evil in today's world. I wish we could do without both of them but we no longer can unless we all want to drive beaters.

Did you hear about the chartered plane full of lawyers that crashed in the ocean on it's way to England? The report was positive and all was good for a while but then they found out one of the lawyers lived.
