wayyy steep the only difference in a newer 5.3 is active fuel management vally cover. for 1250 you can get a low miles 6.0 long block with intake.

Actually the newer 5.3s have better flowing heads, and the flat top pistons should give it a little higher CR.

799s are the same as 243s, but regardless, you can buy a 5.3 and some 243s way less.

it has 1,000 miles on it
it had DOD lifters which in turn to run a bigger cam you have to change lifters if not then you'll be buying a new cam an such again. it has a 90mm intake just like a TBSS has so you can run a 90mm 4 bolt tb.
    lifters are 130 plus shipping
    head gaskets are 65
    lifter trays are 50
    LS2 valley cover 150
    head bolts 60 plus shipping
it comes with everything i got with it. all i did was pull the motor apart to start the lifter swap for the cam swap. i numbered every rocker arm an push rod.
tb coils complete intake manifolds motor mounts heads valve covers
900 is cheap imo an 1250 including all the parts ive already bought is a deal too
im going with a bigger motor in my CC so ill have a 25k 5.3 motor to use.

buy a higher mileage motor, buy 243s an mill em to make a higher compression.

they have people selling these 5.3s as a short block for 800.00 with higher mileage. i think im being fair because i paid shipping and taxes on the parts and taxes on the motor which you dont have to.

your price for that motor is actually pretty decent.

figure 243s go for 400 bucks and 5.3s go for around 550

    good luck with sale
