    2wd trans - 4wd trans

the 4l60e in my 2wd went out.
    i found a good deal on a 4l60e out of a 4wd truck.
is it possible to switch the tail shafts to put the 4wd trans into my 2wd truck?

Going off what I've read before, you need to pull the 4wd trans apart and change some stuff in it to accept the 2wd tail. I guess unless you got a super deal on a lower mile 4wd trans, I'd use the money to just buy an FLT or get your blown one built.
