    No sound in front

Got an 04 extended cab and the tweeters work but not the woofers right under them. It was throwing two entertainment codes??

If it is in the speakers, what would be a good set to go with? don't have subs

Might be the Bose amp or radio. Eclipse are good sounding for the price diamond audio are even better.

it shouldnt be the head unit if the tweeters are working. The tweets and mids are on the same channels, replace the speakers with a good set of coax's or components if you want to add a 4 or 2 channel on them and disconnect the factory tweets.

    These are common failures.

Unplug it and use a meter to check resistance accross the coil. Should be about 4 Ohms.

Just go buy the Diamond D661i's. You can run them off your factory headunit and will be happy with them.
