    Quick question

so i just ordered some new infiniti speakers for up front and an amp wiring kit to re-wire my amp since my power cable is starting to get torn up.

i was planning on re-wiring the rear speakers so that the wire for them is running on the right side of the truck instead of the left. i was just wondering if gm puts teh rear speaker wires on left side for any specific reason???

I would not think so. But then again, I they opted to use orange coolant, 4l60e's on trucks, and put open diffs in a full size pickup. So who knows. I know that when My buddy wires up cars at the shop he works at, he takes the path of least resistance. Maybe its easier on the left.
BTW have we met? Post a picture of your truck in your sig... I am not good with faces, but I know peoples trucks.

out of curiousity, why would you re-wire the speakers to move wires from one side to the other. seems like extra work for nothing.

Why does it matter what side they're on from the factory.

^^I fixed your grammar for you. You're welcome.

The answer is, so they can use just one harness, and simplify installation during assembly.
