    just realized i had a 4l80e

so im sitting thinking about how i wanna get rid of the 4l60e tranny in my truck for 4l80e, but i dont have the money right now for it. then i remembered i bought a 6.0 with a 4l80e attached to it. got them both for 2,000 from a cop buddy who had to sell parts from a chop shop they busted. i would use the 6.0 in my truck but it's from a 05 and my trucks an 07 . but at least i got the tranny, man im dumb for forgetting i bought that.

They'll never know if you swap blocks because its the same block in a 2007 as a 2005. If you keep all your emissions components from the stock engine it shouldn't be an issue.

yah i could do that, guess im just being a little paranoid about it. i love California the weathers great but i absolutely hate there smog rules and how up tight they are about trying to be clean. i cant even run electric cut outs before the cats because they check for that at the smog shops now. it sucks

Depending on where you are I would say drop it in and if you wanna do some major mods register it in AZ or TX. Arizona would probably be easier just based on distance. But we don't have hardly any laws against mods. Is nice.
