Checking in from Corpus Christi, TX

Of course im new to the ls1truck and i have a 2000 RCSB silverado with a 4.3l v6 and wanting to put a ls6 but will settle for an ls1. my truck right now has a blown head gasket and more of a reason to tell the wifey i need to swap engines. Im not very good with engines and all the lingo but from what ive seen its best to get all your parts that your going to need first then give it gas and swap it. Thanks in advance for any info that i get from you guys and gals here on ls1truck.

    Start here. http://www.ls1truck.com/forums/v8-co...wap-guide.html

Get a 5.3L or 2001+ 6L and swap it in.
