droping my truck

so im kinda short on money now,and i want to drop my truck. and i was woundering,if its the first,second or third leaf spring i take off? i have a 01 silverado ls.

I would use a drop shackle. You can get a 2 inch drop for like $40.00 off ebay. If you take apart your U bolts to take out a spring you should use new U bolts which will cost you $20. anyhow. if its a 4x4 take out the lift block for another 2 inch.

Oops,forgot to mention i already have the 2' drop shackles on it. and na,its not a 4x4

just do it right the first time and save up for the full kit

take the 2in out flip the axel and cut your front springs 1 and 1/4th coil you will have a 3/6 drop it will look and ride alot beta than takin a leaf out trust me no one will wont to ride with you ha ha
