Looking for an answer, I've tried almost everything I can think of and I can't get this header in all the way! I've tried from the top, got the inner fender out and tried from there, bottom doesn't look like it's near big enough. I keep getting the pipes right before the collector stuck on the frame? HELP ME!

I recently helped a friend change header gaskets and he slid the header in from the bottom in about 15 secs. The egr tube gets in the way a little bit but not enough to make the job a pain in the a$$.

go from underneath. worst comes to worst you can remove the three engine mount bolts to the frame and lift the engine up a little.

Yeah--jack up the truck and get the front end HIGH off the ground. The things need to go in from underneath--and pretty much need to go in almost vertically...
