    5.7 gto cam in a 5.3

Got a buddy that has the stock gto cam out of his car and said I could have it if it would be worth the trouble. My truck is a 00 GMC 4x4 5.3 auto, only mods are true duals with hooker aero chamber mufflers. Mainly use the truck as a DD but will be pulling a trailer with a 86 GMC 4x4 on it every once in a while.

I'd search for an LS6 cam if it were me. 2002+ model has the best lobe profile. You'll need springs, too, they're about $60 new from SDPARTS.COM.

208/218 .550/.550 117.5 are the specs on the cam, im going to put the same cam in my DD tahoe, they make really good power all the way across the board and keep some decent low end torque

The difference is that Virgil plays musical cams. For someone that hasn't done the swap 8418418 times it might not be worth it.....but then again, for a stock cam it looks pretty nice compared to the truck cam.
