either place should be fine. I would go in the elbow, though.

That would be the most balanced location to put it. Put it in a solitary runner or closer to one than the other and it may affect its performance.

What kind of gains/losses do you get for running a multiport carb style intake. Wondering because cost is cheap. 200-300 for intake, and 150-250 for throttle body adapter. So much cheaper than a aftermarket lsx intake

I am confused. Wouldn't it depend on the location in the elbow, AND the type of induction?

NA motor "pulls" the air through the elbow, which makes it flow more (read denser) at the inside corner? FI is pushing it, so it would ride more along the outside? That would lead me to believe position vs induction could read differently.

Granted, it may be so minisule it doesn't count...so at this point I am mainly questioning my theory.

Guys smarter than me please chime in!!

I would think it would be best in the side of the elbow and in the middle in relationship from front to back.

you see loss down low in torque but make it up in the big end....im doing it for better distribution of air so i less of a chance of a lean cylinder....
