Anyone recommend a tranny shop within a 100 miles of Wilmington, de? My crappy 4l60e is slipping.I'm not looking for anything but a normal rebuild. I went to one shop and they quoted me $1700 I told them where to go real quick. Maybe I spoiled.In Jax,Fl I could have got one rebuild and installed for $1000 by the race shop SHIFTERS on main st. (highly recommend) any suggestions?
Is there a Cottmans transmission up there? They work for cheap and do good work.

Just make sure you don't go to Benchmark on Centreville rd. I got mine rebuilt there for $1700 (back when i was young and dumb)and that included the 3 yr extended warranty, but it starrted slipping within a few months and a year later i killed it. I'm not even gonna bother bringing it back since i will probably just blow it again. just going to get a built trans.
