So those are the tapered-seat compression (AN) fittings. Those don't seem to seat correctly with the OEM braided lines that come up the back of the old engine which use an o-ring and flat seat. I have some -6AN female and male fittings and they didnt exactly run with the OE. Since aaron has a Vortec and i have TBI i cant remember how his lines go into the spider assembly, but for sure the TBI ends don't match up to the back of those fancy ones you posted. And if he has the OE braided lines( i don't believe he was mentioning some Russel braided lines which would most likely have AN fittings), you cant quite cut and use the ferrule route and have a clean -looking splice. Almost have to rob the ends of a fuel filter and....i dunno..*scratches head*
