    Truck value

I know, another thread about the same thing. What is value or expected street sale value of my truck? 2004 VHO (precursor to the 2wd SS). 45k miles, 6k miles on new 408 motor.

    Some basics:
Texas Speed forged 408 (Eagle crank, Callies Compstar Rods, Diamond pistons); WCCH stage 2 317 heads; Comp 228/232; ported oil pump; ls7 lifters; hardened pushrods; 60 lb injectors; '05 efans; Nelson harness; nelson SD tune; Walbro 255 pump; 160* Tstat. Motor built for boost, currently has 9.6CR. Was going front mount. TSP said the block/setup was good for maybe 800-900 crank HP. I wasn't shooting for that much.

4l65E with FLT valvebody (only available through Nelson Performance); vette servos; Yank 3,000; Tru-Cool 40k cooler; 3.73's with G80.

Thorley Tri-Y headers; dual magnaflow 3" spun ceramic cats; Corsa catback

2/3" drop with keys & Belltech leafs. IAS drop shocks. Gibbs 20" wheels, 275/55 front and 305/55 rear.

SS white gauge cluster; pillar 3-guage pod with interceptor, AEM wideband, and Autometer FP gauge all white faced with black trim to match factory SS cluster. Debadged and Gibbs white tailgate spoiler. Custom 6.7 liter emblem

Extra parts waiting for install: 90mm DBW TB, intake, rails, injectors from GTO, Torque 90mm wiring adapter; Pacesetter LT's; new Nelson fan harness (I cut up the old one thinking I new what I was doing); 2 new takeoff 275/55 Goodyears for the front.

    Any ideas?

Hate to say it, but to the normal buyer all the upgrades will decrease value tremendously. You have to find someone that is looking for what you have, You could prob. get some good money for it. Thats a tough deal, you never get even close to what you have in it, in my experience....... Good Luck

The best advice I have ever heard:... Only take B( . Y . )ST advice from someone that is CURRENTLY running a turbo setup close to, or bigger than what you want......

Put a stock 6L back in it and sell it. Sell the performance engine on the side, it'll be worth a lot more that way if you decide to do that.

Thought about that route too. Then I would have a motor for the next project...maybe a Chevy Luv with a 408?
