    Red face Check engine light

During my drive to work today my check engine light came on. I installed a 160* t-stat two days ago. Has anyone had their check engine light come on b/c of that? I plan on getting it to the dealer this week. Let me know!

It's not the 160* stat, It's the airaid TB spacer...The engine doesn't know what to do with all that spining air, like a tornado under the hood. J/K. I wouldn't think a stat would cause that. You got a tune yet?

I thought that if your engine didn't get up to at least a specific temp in a certain amount of time you got an engine performance SES code.

if you are going to the dealer under warranty, I would pull the 160 t-stat and the tbs

    good luck

ps a custom tune will fix it
