"Don't email me via eBay, you will not receive my answer, my old email address not work. Please email me at hammer_motors@netzero.com"

seems kinda sketchy. especially only wanting bank draft/wire. like he wants to take your money and you have no proof of buyin anything, cuase obviously he wants you to buy it off (away from) eBay...but his feedback is good so i dont know...no pics, may be a good deal if your in Texas and could go look.

That auction comes up very regularly. Same ad same price. Also notice that the user id's are "kept private" this is to keep you from contacting the winner of previously scammed bidders. I also e-mailed him and asked him for the block numbers and head casting numbers and he replied "5.7L". Also notice he only takes wire transfers and bank drafts and also his feedback, not a single one of them envolves any type of engine or performance parts. the list goes on and on. I work for the sheriffs office and I recieve calls regaurding similar scams very often, e-bay is a great place to find good crap real cheap, but it is also really easy to lose a lot of money.

Yeah, I know what you mean. I bought an LS1 off Ebay and the engine was supposed to be good. When I got the engine in my possession the bottom end had spun bearings, missing rod caps and bolt, missing oil pickup tube and windage tray, the injectors were all plugged. I spent about $1500 having to rebuild the engine and replace the missing rod assemblies and other missing parts to get it usable. I called the guy and read him the riot act about cheating me and he told me he bought it in the same condition I bought. He bought it for a project and didn't use it and tried to recover money lost on his purchase. I gave him the benefit of the doubt. I guess I am an old softy that thinks most people are honest.
