    Well its in, Still tons of work to do.


    Thanks to Allen and Redheartbeat for all their help so far. I would not have got this far without them.

    I used some I got at a local auto parts store. they came as a complete mount.

    Kinda like that just already assembled. not poly just stock rubber.

    well just to make sure this one is covered if i order the adapter plates and the gm motor mounts at gm parts direct part number 15719194 it will work when i take my 4.3 out?

    His truck is actually the one that got me really wanting to do this, about the same color and all. I can't wait until its all done.

    Yeah, we did that motor swap in record time. It went very quickly with all the tools right at hand. It's all the small details that take so much time. Billy handled the small finishing details. The Nelson Performance wiring harness made the swap simple.

    Wiring the beast begins tomorrow. Allen's Harness is quality work, Shouldn't be too bad.

    looks good! So the engine side of the mounts is from a 5.3, and the truck side was your stock mounts?
