    need help anyone

    i want to delete my EGR and AIRPUMP system, ive heard it is simple but not exactly sure what i should do. If anyone has a good thread or could give me some very good discriptive help on what i should do, it would be much apprecieated thanx
    LR4 4.8 vortec , cat-cutouts, TRUE DUALS,airaid intake, MAF summit, 80mm throttle body, edlebrock headers, PCM,lowerd C-notch,flex-a-lite e-fan,180 stat. best 1/8 mile 9.9 at 79 mph

    I think you will need to get a dummy EGR sensor to fool the PCM into thinking everything is fine...

    If you have a custom tune they can turn those codes off in the PCM.

    Red--so you don't need to take off the EGR, just have the PCM disable it? And I like your title: New Member! LMAO!

    Once you remove the EGR stuff and block everything off, your PCM will light up the dash like a big old Christmas tree due to EGR codes. Those will have to be disabled to pass an emissions test.

    Well, I got some help on the EGR delete process from Sprayed99...he made it so simple. It's really easy guys...simply remove all EGR stuff, use the plate that bolts into the intake as a template...Fix a rubber gasket onto the existing plate with some JB weld. Let it harden, then bolt it back up to the intake using the existing 10mm bolt. And viola! Oh, and use an EGR block off plate on the headers...
