Thumbs up

wutz up my names larry and I'm 17 I've been a truck freak for as long as I could remember but I'm just now gettin into the efi stuff as far as swaps and stuff like that go I got a 70 model c/10 chevy 2wd swd 1/2ton with a 350ci engine 700r4 trans 2/4 drop 20's your run of the mill classic truck with a few up dates here and there. but I want to put a late model motor that has efi and I found 1 in missouri that was a 5.3 vortec out of a 2000model 40k miles already wired supposedly to where you only have four wires to hook up ING GRND FUELPUMP and STARTER garranteed to run for and is already been programmed for $1600 and $25 for some bushing so my 700r4 can work with it. Is that to for the 5.3

Welcome! You have the perfect truck for an LS1 swap. Sounds as if you have most of your bases covered--so far. There are a few manufacturers that make wiring harnesses that are plug and play for your application. Have you figured out other variables--such as header fitment, motor mounts, accessories, etc? There are threads on this site about swaps. Look into those. You will have a lot of your questions answered.
