    OK .IM NEW TAKE IT EASY ,I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW WHY DURING THE DAY I ONLY GET LIKE 5-7PSI ON THE BOOST GAUGE WHEN ITS HOT MOST OF THE TIME .I WORKED ON MY TRUCK THE LAST FEW NIGHTS AND THEN WENT FOR A RIDE.HOLLY CRAP I WAS SHOWING LIKE 14PSI AND GOING LIKE A BOOH.DURING THE DAY ITS NOT HALF AS FAST ITS ACTUALLY BOGGY.I KNOW S/C RUNS BETTER W/ COLDER TEMPS BUT I THOUGHT YOURE PSI COULDNT CHANGE UNLESS YOU CHANGED YOURE PULLEY.AM I IN GENARAL RUNNING LIKE CRAP DURING THE DAY AND THE NIGHT TEMPS ARE WAKING ME UP OR WHAT I.D.K..?I HAVE ALQ4 WITH A VORTEC S/C .OH YEH WHAT WAYS ARE THERE TO COOL MY UNDERHOOD TEMPS I HAVE A METH KIT INSTALLED BUT THATS ONLY NAILING IT NOT ALL THE TIME .I DONT WANT TOO PAY A FORTUNE RIGHT NOW FOR A INTERCOOLER ,ANY SUGGESTIONS?ANY FABRICATIONS ETC IDEAS WHERE TOO START COOLING?
    mods:2004 sierra ext sb,20s ,big brake kit w,hawk pads,air bagged,2006 6.0 lq4 swap,vortec supercharged10psi, air to water intercooled w/ dual electric fans on it ,snow meth injection kit,60lbers, e-fans ,big radiator swap ,cam 218 /222 548/550 comp .hardened prs .1.85 comp roller rockers ,guideplates ,crane double springs,trans 4l65e built .pacesetter l/ts true duals w/x pipe and magnaflows,14 bolt rearend swap ,3.73s,aroemotive fuel pump system w/elec.fuel controller and bypass regulator a/n fittings, taylor 10.5s interceptor gauge,aem w/b a/f ,autometer boost/vac NELSON 93 OCTANE TUNED .

    have you tried spraying water instead of meth or did you tune with meth...

    Contact Billy at TRTPerfomance/TRTTurbo. He can fix you up with an intercooler for a very reasonable price. Don't risk damaging the engine. Cool air makes more pressure and power due to it's density.

    so im not nuts i am getting more boost at night? i just did it again took her out again 10 12 lbs boost im like wth is going on ,during the day its a dog ,will a intercooler make that much difference during the day ,and what about this meth kit doesnt seem to help during the day ,i mean im a dog day time temps80-90 deg.what can i do too start cooling down underhood temps.should i encapsulate my intake filter and feed it outside air?just looking for helpfull hints.

    That is a bunch of fluctuation 5-14lbs? I would be checking the gauge out...also check any lines that may be getting hot during the day thus distorting....I&#39;ve seen wastegates and vacuum lines fluctuate their opening quite a bit due to heat. If you are running 14lbs that may be on the edge of pump gas even with a good tune. If you stay under 8-10lbs no problem 14+lbs...I&#39;d have an intercooler on it.
