can you do a scan on a 1990? i didnt think you could... I'm going to replace the fuel filter later tonight, because its been a while since its been replaced anyways. I'll let you guys know if this is the problem, otherwise I'll be back for more input! thanks

First thing to check is the fuel pressure. I think it's supposed to be 15 lbs on the throttle body engines. Chances are most likely that your fuel pump is dying a slow agonizing death.
