Yeah, the title and topic were typed in frustration.

PCM is in...drove home (about 40 minutes) drove around town, got on it pretty good on the freeway. I don't know. Sometimes it feels really good (especially from a roll) other times it's like 'come on you piece o' crap - GOOOOOOO'. So who freakin knows. At some point, the check engine light came on. I don't know if it was when I was getting on it or just normal driving (steering wheel kind of blocks things). Anyway, maybe it will take a 100 miles or to learn things. But I thought that was the point, the tune was already as customized as possible so it didn't HAVE to learn things. Or is that the downside of a mail order tune? Virgil is going to log for a little bit with HPT tomorrow or Saturday hopefully, and that should tell more of the story. Either I'm hoping for way too much and being unreasonable or it's still not where it needs to be.

Expand on that please...A general idea of a topic is useless when struggling with issues with said topic. And stuff.

When Virgil scans it you can see what's wrong. The crank "learn" can be done through HPT and will syncronize the cam and crank sensors to the PCM. Virgil can fix that if that's what the engine code is.

Yeah, it's locked but the "crankshaft learn" isn't locked.
