I was having a hard time spooling the turbo at the line but the last run I got it up 5psi. The .96 A/R housing spools slow off the line but once it kicks in hold on. I need to change my plugs to TR6, header wrap my exhaust back to the turbo, and load my water tank with ice before I go back. I’m shooting for a 14.2 next time but I am happy with my gains for now I dropped from a 15.5 NA to 14.4

YEA, RED WE ARE RUNNING TANKS. WHEN THAT TURBO WAKES UP, THE TRUCK FEELS LIGHT AS A FEATHER. I ALMOST LOST IT YESTERDAY DOING A PUNCH AT 40 MPH WHILE LANE CHANGING. THE BACK END BROKE LOOSE AND I ALMOST DID SOME DITCH DRIVING. ALL IS O.K. SOMETIMES I FORGET HOW MUCH THAT TURBO LIKES TO SPOOL UP.

CONGRATS ON THE RUNS. WHAT GEAR ARE YOU RUNNING, 3.73 OR 4.10?

DO A CAM AND 60# INJECTORS AND LET ALLEN S/D TUNE IT. YOU WILL LOVE IT. I LOVE MINE, BUT I AM FIXING TO TAKE IT UP A NOTCH.

SWEET. WHAT IS YOUR RPMS READING AT 70MPH?

YOU WILL LAUNCH GOOD AT 3000RPMS. YOUR GONNA NEED SLICKS! THATS MY PROBLEM NO TRACTION. SOUNDS LIKE OUR TRUCK ARE GOING TO BE IDENTICAL. THE ONLY THING DIFFERENT IS THE EXHAUST SIDE ON THE TURBO .81 VS .96 A/R AND I AM RUNNING 3.73'S. YOURS WILL HAVE MORE FORCE ON THE TOP END. GOOD LUCK.

ON MY NEW MOTOR I WILL BE RUNNING THE L92 HEAD, 370 OR 408 ALL FORGED MOTOR. I DON'T KNOW WHAT SIZE I WANT YET? EITHER MOTOR WILL HOLD ABOUT 20 PSI, BUT ONLY GOING TO RUN LIKE 18PSI AND SOME FAST GAS.

if you could only make some back to back runs....the quicker you can run again the better your times will be....the turbo will heat up and heat up( the hotter it is the better) and your times will improve every run.....i did 3 back to backs with my 2500 sts and got from a 14.5 to a 14.1 running back to back
if you have to sit there in line you will not improve cause the turbo is loosing all it's heat from the previus run.....
example...look at my burnout vid in the vid section and you can see that it took 2 or 3 times for the turbo to heat up and build some awsome hp and tq....
