Does anyone know of a locking dipstick set-up? I've even rigged up an oil pvc catch can and am still blowing my dipstick out. Any ideas?

I think our trucks have a locking tranny dip stick. You might be able to go to a junk yard and get one--then rip out the stick from the locking handle and insert your oil dip stick onto it. But even if that works, I don't know if the neck of the oil dip stick tube will accomodate the locking mechanism... I would say test it out to see if it locks with your tranny dip stick, but the stick my be too long...Does anyone know of a locking dipstick set-up? After looking at that site, i believe that the guy cuts a hole in the factory oil cap and glues these filter on top of them. If so you could make your own for very cheap.
You might have $5 to $20 in a filter and everyone has some glue laying around the house. Looks like i found my next little project. LOL
