So I'm wondering what the max RPM is for a LQ9 with a cam and Z06 springs? I've heard the truck manifolds peak at 6000-6200. With a LS6 manifold how much higher will it run? And how much can the stock internals take?

I'm at 6,300 w/stock intake. I am sure there are others shifting higher.

I've got a cam & springs. I think with rod bolts you could almost go to 7,000.

Good internal balancing and a damn good flowing set of heads.

    Cool

Yeah, no way in Hell (where I live lol) those heads and intake will flow enough air to support 8000rpm

If you're serious, look into an LS6/FAST intake swap.
