Thread: shocks questions

    I am going to be replacing my shocks soon. I dont konw which one to go with. I plan on dropin her down 2-2 or 2-4 have not made up my mine. Heres what I have been lookin at KYB, KONI, Edlebrock, Belltech nitro drop. Which one is best?
    As of right now I have one good shock on my truck. It SUCKS!!!!!!

    Bilstein Much better than the factory.

    i put toxic shock on when i did my drop....there good but wouldn't buy them again...

    Monroe matics. They are bigger than the Toxics or Belltechs.

    if your doing a drop with lower control arms in the front. use a stock length bilstien because shock travel does not change. if not using LCA's use a beltech drop shock

    I run monroe reflex and they feel great. The are made the same way as the edelbrock shocks.
    2004 EXC Silverado 6.2L
    Mods:
    6.2L L92, Ported and Polished stage 3 heads, 95mm Throttle Body, 100mm MAF, NA, Pacesetter LT Headers, Magnaflow X-Pipe Muffler, Electric Fans, 160* thermostat, 2" Drop Shackles, Hellwig Sway Bars Front and Rear, Monroe Reflex Shocks, NGK Spark Plugs, AMW Oil Catch Can, 17"x10" wheels on Kuhmo Tires.
