Thumbs up

Anyone ever seen this kind of breakage? Could the joint breaking have caused this? The full throttle second shift blew it. Think my tranny is ok? Looking for a yoke now.

Did you have any driveline vibrations in the past?

maybe the diff broke and busted the driveshaft. Others have destroyed the transmission when the diff broke. You may have gotten off lucky.

Thank goodness you have the FLT trans, the ujoint went instead of the output shaft. Still that destroyed diff really sucks, sorry to see that.

They make a pro series diff for the NBS trucks? Damn, I wanted one of those and they fit the OBS trucks with specific bearings.

I have the 542022, same series. We'll be installing the same 542052 unit in a 2000 model truck Saturday night.
