ok... well these questions kind of link together and i figure it should be easily answered by someone...

ok first, how do i decifer what size alternator that i have?? if its a 105, can i go with a 145, if its a 145 can i go with a 160?? what does this do if i go with a larger size, besides have more output.....

ok once i decifer that question if i go with a larger size alternator, what would the affect be if i went with underdrive pullys..... i have a couple small subs that i listen to and i dont want to underpower or be worried if my truck will start in the morning....

i am also installing e-fans here very soon, so i am going to need these to work efficiantly...

ok so first off i need to figure out what i have... how is this done... then i will work from there

    Red? Mr P? Bueller?

Grab the positive and negative leads at the same time. If you jump and hit your head on the hood, it's a 105. If you go through the hood it's a 145.

Eric (HitmanX) can help you out...he also sells the pulleys.

Not a problem. Also, be sure to check what percentage the underdrive is on the pulleys. Some of them are a smaller percentage which will give smaller gains.

    From my understanding.

I'm going to start suffixing everything with that. "From my understanding...".

Cause honestly I don't know much. Just going by what I've heard or read.

The output amperage is stamped into the housing. After you get done bouncing around and have taken your tylenol for the concussion, read the numbers on there if you can still focus.

Are you just trying to balance your amps coming from the bigger amp to the smaller pulleys?

From what I remember reading of Hitmans posts, if you put a 145 amper on there you should be perfectly fine running efans and a decent stereo system.
