just installed my other 5.3 with a 222/224 .581 114 cam kit
she really moves now , but, i cant get the damned thing to idle!
ive cant find vacum leaks, so i know thats not the problem, i know the cam trades low end power and idle quality for midrange and topend power. I got what i wanted, cant complain

was considering drilling out that little hole on the buttefly valve of the throttle body for a bit more air, would this make it a bitch to tune later?
I allready stripped out the adjustment screw on the throttlebody

the temp fix keeps it running @ stoplights
but it idles too high, i know its not good for my trans. i dont trust this fix for too long.
im kindof out of ideas

a retune is out of the question till late february.

any ideas?
