Thread: TACHOMETER TROUBLE

    I installed a 99 ls1 into 96 chevy ck1500 that had a 4.3 in it before , and i cant get the tach to work.I have heard something about some module or box i need with a diffrent pulse in order for it to work.Does anyone know what i need if so please list part # and info if possible THANKS

    If you have tuning software such as efi live you need to change tach signal

    If you have HPTuners change the tach resoltion to 3 and you&#39;ll be close.

    my buddy had to get his stock pcm tuned to run off of 4 cylinders instead of 8.
    &#39;97 sierra ecsb built 355 and 4l60e

    bolt ons, extras: holley headers, vortec ported and polished heads, stock intake manifold, and 3" cutouts, , 3:42&#39;s, 2200stall, corvette servo, and hard shift at the flip of a switch
