Put the stocker back in for now and mess with it when you have time. Sounds like one of the connectors didn't make good contact. Make sure all the pins are pushed all the way in on the PCM connectors.

Can you start it & run it in gear while 2-footing it? IE-gas & brake same time? Mine had a problem learning the idle and had to drive like that for a few miles.

It is all out of whack, i finally got it to move, but it was stumbling and trying to die the whole time. I got it down my road and was going about 35MPH according to my radar detector and it showed me going like 50MPH on my gauges.

I think i might have gotten a bad PCM, if there is such a thing.

This truly sucks. I guess i will be sending it back. i put my stock PCM back in and it ran like a champ.

If anyone can be of anymore help, please chime in. It would be greatly appreciated

Thanks,
Brent

Check for bent pins in the PCM. Otherwise I believe you have a bad PCM, also. It happens some times.

Thanks Red, that was one of the first things i checked for. I installed/uninstalled the PCM about 5 times and it was the same result everytime.

Oh well, i just send it back for a new one.

Thanks guys

Sounds like a bad upload or it got corrupt somehow. Not sure how it happens. We flash them with GM tools and read them, you'd think they would be good after all that.
Unfortunately, we can't test every pcm in a truck that goes out, to many variables.
The good thing is, you have a stock one and you're up and running.

I'll get another out tomorrow for you.

send me your name and i'll take care of it,

I uploaded a tune that didn't take, for whatever reason (turned key off too soon/late?) and tried to two-foot it. I guess the relief valve in the power steering pump was stuck, and because I have hydra-boost, the pump quit. I noticed when I was backing out of the driveway, it was drifting into the neighbor's yard, and the wheel felt like it was locked. That was odd, and when I hit the brakes and nothing happened, that was even odder. All I had to do was let off the gas and the engine died. Everthing was ok with the way it ran after I reloaded the tune. And the problem with the pump was a new one on me. The shaft broke inside of the pump!

I had that same problem too, mine happened however after only a cal write, not after a full flash that Allen does. Just has to be reloaded and it will work fine.
