I run the True Flow. Haven't tried anything else, but like it just fine. Uses the stock airbox and sells at a good price. www.trueflow.com

Something made of plastic to beat the heat and of course it has to have a NOS nozzle installed in it.

I am using the K & N ColdAir. It works great in my opinion. If your going to run a dry shot you can get something like this CONE FILTER RING That will spread it out evenly before it goes in you MAF. Just a thought. this will work great in any cone filter.

You have me canfused also, Nitrous comes out at a very low tempurature. So heat build up shouldnt be an issue, it actually cools the intake. correct?

not when your running N/A. your bottle wont always be full...i like volant and UPD. i have UPD with Volant Ram air. i like the 2 because its not an open element filter that sucks up hot engine air...."heat shields" are useless IMO. dont use volant if you plan on spraying though. they get pretty brittle with extreem cold.
