Of course Greg is the only vote...![]()
well i voted for cutout, but i mean i would only use that for the strip. and yada yada yada, the ported TB is probably better anyway.

they are all good..lol
i heard that gm has come out with a 90mm electronic throttle body with a sick intake manifold, along with 38# injectors and fuel rails and even heads. The heads flow 300cfm. I was told the heads were about 375 and you had to by the other which is about 500.
2004 EXC Silverado 6.2L
Mods:
6.2L L92, Ported and Polished stage 3 heads, 95mm Throttle Body, 100mm MAF, NA, Pacesetter LT Headers, Magnaflow X-Pipe Muffler, Electric Fans, 160* thermostat, 2" Drop Shackles, Hellwig Sway Bars Front and Rear, Monroe Reflex Shocks, NGK Spark Plugs, AMW Oil Catch Can, 17"x10" wheels on Kuhmo Tires.
Must be thinking of the L92 heads which require 2 at $375+ each, $500 intake which is complete with fuel rails, injectors and throttle body(electronic), 8 intake rockers and 8 exhaust rockers(about $25 each x 16), not all the same, rocker bases and new pushrods($180?). I don't know about valve covers but the entire package is going to be sweet when it becomes available as a kit!![]()

Damn it Yankee just set aside 6 hrs next weekend and port that TB yourself! It's easy and basically free and the results are noticeable. I put u/d pulleys on my v6 and couldn't tell much difference and I doubt youd feel much with a cut out either. You will definitely notice the difference with the ported TB. I have seen proven 7-11 hp gains from this mod.

I'm not a bit interested in doing it. I'd rather just pay the cash and get one from someone who has done them before rather than spend the time and possibly mess it up. It's only $150. That's worth my time, to me anyway.
Thanks for the numbers though. Hey, if I get 7-11 hp, that's 7-11 hp (cheaper than an intake for about the same gains).
Thanks Moto.
