Alright guys, I floored it, the truck downshifted, started pullin then heard a little pop. It almost sounded like backfire but as if it were muted. Now when im driving i cant get over 3000 rpm. Still drives normal and shifts normal but i just can get passed the 3000 marker. It also makes a little humming noise if i try. Any takers think they can come up with a idea??? Govner??

    Thanks, Steve

Check for leaks around your ram air box. You may be developing a leak only when you're at high rpms ,Causing your air meter to wig out. Like maybe around your connections.something similar happened to me when my cold air intake had rubbed a hole in the ninety coming off of my throttlebody.

Check that your air intake didn't blow off the TB. Also check all the vacuum fittings on the intake to see that they didn't blow out. One final thing to check is your fuel pressure. You may be running lean.
