I have a 05 chevy 1500 that has 3.43 's and is not posi track. I want to go to 3.73 or 4.10 i think? and a locker. What type of rear end is in this truck? If i was going to order gears and a locker will i need any numbers of the rear end ?

mine is a 8.6" x 10 bolt and that is what trutrac i ordered for it...it has the hd bearings....

Bud's correct, it's actually an 8.6 but they call it an 8.5" rear end.
