Is the rear end broken? If so, yes. If no, then no way. Sounds like a bad build to me. Even my self-built tranny has survived 10k and 2 bottles of NOS at 150hp with an Auburn LSD.

drop in a low mile used 4l65e trans. one that nobody has been into yet. it doesnt take much to take out a trans. there has only been 3 people that i have ever seen (one being the person to bring us all the 4l65e trans) that can look at a trans while assembling it and be for sure that it is going to last 100%. i have all the parts to build my 4l60e trans and have done it before, when it goes out i still might not go into it. just because i dont want to do it twice. its hard to find a good trans guy, its kind of hit and miss rebuilding a auto trans. nobody wants to put the extra effort and time into doing a good job when your in a production shop.

    ok i feel better now
