Shift Solenoid B....stuck open I guess

Ever since my Transgo, servos and Vig3200 I've been getting this code as well as another. I don't have a laptop so I've been at the mercy of macadayear and he won't send me the text file we saved on the laptop of the 3 codes it threw. I know one was for the bad fuel sending unit, and the other two were shift solenoid B and I think the other was shift solenoid A.

All I know is that after I drive around alot, it will all of a sudden just act like it's got a 5000 stall in it. I think it's stuck in 3rd gear because the RPMs go way high and it barely moves.

Did a search on LS1tech.com and there has been a handful of guys with this problem, all with a stall...they all say Edit will erase it, except for one who says he erases it with Edit and it keeps coming back
    What gives?

btw, Allen did you get my PM?

Once you start slipping that seems to be a clue to get your trans worked on, it may just be a sol. but I'm not a tranny expert.

I cancmment on the code thing. If you erase it with edit , there is know way it can come back. You removed that code, once you flash a pcm, it cannot revert back to the previous program. I'm sure there's something else going on or the right ses wasn't removed.

not much info, but hope this helps,

btw, i'm bad about checking pms, i'll check them today, lol

The thing is that it does that ONLY after I've driven it for awhile (1hour+). When I let it sit like overnight, it will act like normal again, like nothing happened. That's why I'm unsure if the tranny is really broken or not. I think it's just a PCM problem, although I know the tranny has to be on it's last limb considering it's the same one from when I pulled my truck off the lot. All the abuse I'm giving it I'm sure isn't helping it.

I know that this is an old thread but I got the P0757 code yesterday and the truck went into limp home mode (2nd gear only). I cleared the code with my predator and it did the same thing this morning on the way to work. Both time it has happened the first time of the day that it has tried to shift into 3rd.

Anyone have any input on this. I've ordered a new 2-3 solenoid and will change it out tomorrow night but I'm leary of this fixing the issue.

My tranny specs are a stock 4L60E with 62k miles, a trailblazer converter, HD2 shift kit, and servos. The converter, shift kit, and servos have been in since October. It's been supercharged since early Feb. This is the first time that I've seen this code.

What do you think? Is it terminal?

You need to disable a couple of codes. P0757 and one more I can't remember. You can search old posts to find it or go onto LS1Tech's website under the transmission section and you will find it. The convertor is screwing with the PCM's mind and it thinks the transmission is slipping, when in reality you just have a higher stall convertor than the factory installed.

Found it, delete/remove/turn off P0757 and P0751 and problems will vanish.

Glad to hear that. I should have HPTuners in Friday. I'll try that before dropping the pan. It does make me wonder why it tripped the code 6 months after the converter was installed and not sooner.

    edit: Thanks
