Thread: Lazy Tach

    I remember Time2Kill saying if I change the tach resolution high and low from 6 to 3 it will get me close. I posted over at HPT but they answered with a 99+ F-body tach. Mine is the stock 97 truck tach. Just wanted some more input on this. Thanks

    Man I couldnt tell ya, it might be different for you since you do have the truck tach, I know mine is a hair slow, but its not bad off at all.

    You probably don't want to hear this again but I got the tach module from Baker Electronix to solve my issues with the tach on the 92 truck. It worked perfectly and was not slow, though it redlined at 4500 rpm for the 6 cylinder. BTW, Baker makes one that is adjustable for almost any engine to tach pulse rate.

    I don't mind hearing it again. I might have to go that way if HPTuners doesn't take care of it.
