Got it all finished just in time to head down south.
Once again, the turbo kit is put together very well! It's the best fitting kit I've done so far. It shouldn't have any water issues.
Cam is just right! The lil 212 is still at stock idle, made one adjustment and it's perfect. Once it idles for about 30secs, it'll get into it's routine and lope pretty good! The exhaust system helps with that, not to mention the huge 4" pipe after the turbo.
Shift kit went ok, I got all my parts from Chuck @ FLT! He's the king of transmissions. I installed the Sonax Servo kit and Transgo HD kit. The truck shifts awesome! Only problem I had was, apparently the '05 has achange in the pump, or I have the only trans that is a freak. The boost valve is a bit shorter and the transgo parts don't fit. I'm sure tech support at transgo will be hearing a lot about this, it was a first for both of us. Not many '05 cores out I guess.
The AV will actually scratch 2nd gear now.

As for the power!! It's incredible at 5.5-6psi.

First run: 15.5 @ 96.7mph w/ 2.491 60ft ouch!
Second run: 15.2 @ 97 same 60
Third: I guess the tune starts getting better and the turbo is finally breaking in!
--14.76 @ 97.8mph
Final run: 14.75 @ 97.8mph still a shitty 2.372 60ft, it's pathetic.

The truck has the power to hit 13's, I just need to get off the line. The turbo doesn't build boost until 3500rpms, then it rips!

That last run was the second round in the Truck Shootout. I dialed in at 14.76 and ran a 14.75 dammit, broke out just abit and I had an awesome reaction time, almost perfect. The other guy dialed in at a 12.1 and ran 12.3, I should have known to hit the brakes at the end, he was three car lengths behind and couldn't catch me.

So not a bad gain from a 16.4,

later,
allen

oh btw, just ordered a 2600stall lol, 13's then I'm done.

glad to hear your progress! Thats cool to have another turbo toy ! Yes, my cam does the same thing, lopes real nice and actually shakes the truck a little, i guess in an f-body it would shake more. So you think with the stall and 8 Psi youll be in the teens? Id say for sure! Give that turbo time to break in, it'll do you right! Are you running the 60-1?,and are you 4X4? and are you intercooled?

Congrats on getting it finished, for now. That thing ought to be sweet with that combination. I should have sold you my reverse split cam but you'd need some different springs for the .600+ lift.

I'm sure he'll stop at 13s, unless I can prove I can get into 'em - then you can be he'll be like "12's, then I'm done"
