Thread: trans cooler

    What kind of trans cooler should i use? Is there a kit that has fittings to adapted to my factory lines or should i cut the factory lines ?

    I cut the lines. It's actually a low pressure fluid flow. I have one of the largest units sold by Oregon Performance Transmission Supply. I bought the 40,000 GVW unit. Check them out. Ebay store I'm sure the 28,000 GVW unit would be more than sufficient. I didn't even bother to install the temperature valve that came with the cooler. Cooler is better IMO.

    Yeah I just put in my Tru-Cool Max made by Long (40,000GVW) today. I ordered the one without the temp valve since I had no plans of using it either.
    Gone, but not forgotten!
