Hi, I went around looking for forums to join and found this one. I just bought a 2000 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 Z71 on Friday the 13th of January. Kinda weird. Nothing bad happened. Anyways, Im 19 and working at Eriks Chevrolet in Kokomo. We aren't the biggest Dealership around. Im a car porter, otherwords, I park the cars, tag them in when we get trade ins, take them to service, give them gas, clean them before delivery, gas them before delivery. That kinda thing. I work at the used car part. I sometimes have to get new cars ready also, which is nice. So far the nicest cars ive got to drive is a 05 corvette, 04 GTO, could say 2 mustangs gt's one was a 40th anniversary, and a Z28.
I hope to become a mechanic. I need to get money for college though, right now im spending it on the truck, but atleast I have a reliable source of transportation since my 1994 Blazer was starting to piss me off and becoming a money pit.
So far the truck had a K&N 77 series on it before I bought it, and I cut off the muffler. I plan on getting a glasspack on it to reconnect it with the tailpipe. Oh, and its already got 102,3xx miles on it. But they were baby driven miles, the guy that owned it, was a buddy of a guys dad that works with me. So I found out it was babied since it was driven off the lot.
