Check sig and let me know.....do you think the A4 can handle it? Was told my 4L60E can handle 550hp.

Depends on what all you want to buy. 1st one will require 918 springs, 2nd will require much more aggressive springs to handle over .600 lift. I'd do the 2nd one if I had the money and I'd get a stage 1 port job done to the heads minimum.

    Hi RedHeartbeat,

    Hope things are going better....

The springs are not an issue. The AFR 205cc I have were built with springs supporting up to .650 lift. This is why I'm really considering both of these cams...

Oh, cool. I'd go with as much lift as you can get handle between the valve and piston.

Yeah, it's been a bitch around my truck lately. I am tearing it down right now. I pulled it this evening, 2 hours coming out. Too bad it takes so much longer going back in. Tomorrow I'll pull it apart to see what I killed, sounds like the 3-4 clutch pack. I had installed a 9 disk setup only to find out that I would have been better off with a 6 friction blue plate special or the stock 8 disk setup. Maybe I'll drive out to Rock-On and see what Dave recommends.

I ordered a set of 7.450 pushrods from Tbyrne today, $109 for SLPs out of their clearance bin.
