I plan on replacing every bushing under the truck to tighten it up. Now what sbout sway bars. It doesnt have one on the front or rear. Did any of these trucks have them from the factory? Aftermarket?

Mine has the front from the factory. I think Suburbans had rear ones.

Hmm... good question. I know there's one on the front. I'll look when I get home.

*edited* Found front only. No need. I learned at an early age how to control the weight of the rear (or lack thereof) from my early 20's. Scary spinouts... Can't wait to see how fast I can break the back-end out with the new heart.

There are many companies that make a performance rear sway bar for the Early model trucks.
See my truck data in the "My Garage" section here... http://www.ls1truck.com/forums/my-ga...tml#post191709

Have you upgraded your brakes yet? The stock 86 Silvy non-ABS drum brakes are descent, but I have plans to upgrade soon. Might wanna think about that while you're thinking upgrades.
